Requirements
• Engineering degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, or similar;
• Automotive product development experience. Experience in projects of solutions with HW/embedded software, preferably from the automotive industry;
• Good proficiency level of English, both written and spoken;
• Knowledge of LIN, CAN, and Ethernet communication;
• Experience of working on Clusters SW development and/or verification;
• Good knowledge of communication protocols (J1587, J1939, CAN, LIN, etc.).
• Good in C, C++, Python and assembly programming and Excellent debugging skills;
• International and multi-cultural experience with a global organization;
• Knowledge of truck electrical architecture;
• Vehicle or automotive experience, possibly truck-driving license;
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, power BI and requirement tools;
• Experience with Vector toolchain and especially CANalyzer and CANoe;
• Experience of control systems with Arduino.
Activities:
• Develop Driver Interface and Infotainment solutions tailored for Latin America application, based on Platform and local HMI hardware technologies with embedded SW;
• Lead sub-systems requirements with SW development centers in different sites to build a SW development plan according to project budget and timelines;
• Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements along with system level requirements specifications;
• Configure, tune, test the components to fulfil functional requirements;
• Lead technical development for quality subjects, assuring effective and timely containment actions and final solution for customers;
• Build, maintain and secure implementation of the local road map for Driver Interface and Infotainment sub-systems;
• Support conceptual and advanced engineering studies under Driver Interface and Infotainment scope;
• Develop the verification/validation plan of your components and sub-systems in collaboration with Volvo Verification Engineers and also with suppliers - assuring comprehensive testing for high quality deliveries;
• Capture HMI interaction feedbacks with different stakeholders like Commercial Area, Aftermarket, Quality, Verification, Field Test, proposing improvement on existing HMI solutions;
• Releasing drawings, develop and release technical regulations and specifications, HW components, SW components during different stages of design;
• Being the gatekeeper of high Quality Driver Interface and Infotainment Solutions in front of our customers.
